I’m not sure we got as much rain as y’all did. The river’s up, but the ground is surprisingly dry. I figured I wouldn’t be able to get into my place in a truck, but the oil field roads are dry.

Yeah roads are good now, sandy ground should be perfect, farm ground is still sloppy. I think you got about half the rain as us.

Well, I got 1600 lbs of wheat and 40 lbs of Deer Slayer’s fall mix in the ground today. Tomorrow, I’m going to plant another 400 lbs of wheat in the field behind the barn and in front of the house here at the OK. I see quite a few deer around the house and figure I’ll help them out this winter with some extra groceries.

Got 3 plots knocked out today. That should take care of any rain chances in my area.
