I’ve got a big job coming up out of state, so I won’t be around for most of September. Would it be too early to go ahead and plant my wheat plots in the next couple weeks?
Get a worm and grasshopper report from your son first. If we get another rain or two there will be drills in the fields in two-three weeks. Longer if not of course.

My son said he hasn’t seen any army worms and not as many grasshoppers as he sees in south Texas. I may just put off my trip until next weekend or the following week and take a gamble. Worst case, I would lose the cost of 2500 lbs of wheat seed and a little time. I’ve lost a heck of alot more than that trading stocks on Robinhood. :anyone:
