I quit "cleaning" a grill since I got my Blackstone. It takes less than 5 minutes.

Turn it on.
Get it hot.
Scrape off debris.
Turn it off.
Put some water on it.
Rub water around some paper towels until somewhat clean and dry.
Add a little veg. oil to reseason.
Rub around with paper towels to cover all areas.
Wipe off excess oil.
Done.

I highly recommend.

I won't ever use a metal brass bristle brush anymore. Small, sharp metal bristles can break off as you’re cleaning the grill. Those stray bristles may adhere to food and be accidentally ingested. An estimated 1,700 Americans went to an emergency room between 2002 and 2014 after having ingested wire bristles in grilled food. Not a great number of people, but be careful.
