[QUOTE="JD8, post: 3251689, member: 24"] I'm not sure that's how it went. Everyone wanted a Glock single stack 9mm for. years..... Glock would've sold a few million easily if they'd come out with theirs first or even around the same time as others. However, Glock ignored the SS 9 market. S&W, Springfield, and Walther all came out with their SS 9mms. The Shield had shipped 1 million units and THEN Glock came out with an oversized .380? and THEN came out with the G43? Sig finally came out with the P365 and in terms of size and capacity blew everyone away. Glock didn't really have an apples to apples answer to the P365 so it came out with the 43x and 48 but they were still larger, had fewer mag options, and still had the garbage stock trigger. Kudos to them for finally upgrading the trash stock sights or at least offering the NS option though. Now Sig has released the P365xl which offers 12 and 15 round mag options, a RDS cut(if that's your thing), Stock NS, Flat Trigger. If anything Sig wasn't going after Glock's sales.... they were probably going after S&W's. I'd say the Shield has to be the most successful SS 9mm out there so far.
