In 15 stamps I had one problem. It was during a transfer of a silencer to me, and my examiner sent my forms back to me with some sticky pads with notes on what she wanted to be corrected and her direct extension at NFA Branch. I received the forms back for correction, called to confirm the corrections, and FedEx overnighted the forms back to her the same day. My dealer called seven days later to say that my stamp had arrived. That was my very first transfer so I was a bit nervous of the process, hence spending $35 to overnight the forms back to WV.

This is good news. It means that the examiner is looking at it. As soon as they get the corrected form back, it should be approved. I'm guessing a week at the most for the turnaround time.

This is what I have experienced. Once the examiner gets the corrected information, the turn-around time is minimal.
