That's great to hear. I look forward to seeing/hearing the results. I have several Benchmade knives and like them all very much. Good to hear that they worked with you on this one.
It’s package day! Benchmade did indeed return my old original blade but it looks like they tried to work it over before giving up. It will go in the box and someone will find it some day and think WTF happened here.
The scales look new but they are not listed in the build sheet. The tech that called me said the scales were pretty much the only thing they could salvage. $71.68 total damage…. Well worth it to me.

Looks great...at least now it does. 
Facebook has a benchmade group that is nothing but info and sales. Way better prices on there than the web stores. This one runs about $135 for the none personalized.
Try eBay.
