A really good reason to clean any LPK's before installing. It was stuck in the lube they are packed in. Just enough to screw up function. I used the penny as a size reference. It's a small metal pin.

It looks like the J-spring which is supposed to be INSIDE of the hammer!!! I can't quite tell from the pic. Does it have a slight "hook" on the end, hence the name "J-spring"? If so, it was incorrectly installed and it does belong in the hammer. Integral part to keep the hammer pin from falling out......

You can get different size pins.
Once you start searching in industrial media and jewelry cleaning media instead of reloading suppliers.
