The difference on my presses for small and large pistol primers will be in the priming arm cup that holds the primer.
Shell holders are the same.

I have used large priming arm for small primers and small primer arm for large primers but I go slow and steady.
I have also seated primers with a dowel rod and small hammer.

And that would be the same as the Lee Classic loader way.

I still load off a single stage and prime off an RCBS hand primer. I have to separate the brass after cleaning, but it all works out in the end. I bought a couple thousand pieces of Federal SPP brass just to be able to load it during rona.

I hated it back when I loaded off a 550B, but now, not as much

My 45 ACP shell holder in my press is for LPP. Does anyone make a 45 shell holder for SPP? I have quite a bit of 45 brass that is SPP.

I have mostly Redding and RCBS and a few Lyman shell holders, and it does not matter what priming cup I use they fit either or!

Press is a Redding!

I believe the shell plates for a Dillon 550 dont care if you use the small or large primer cup either!
