I've looked at the harvest right ones but there just isn't enough reviews as far as I'm concerned. Some of the flakes on youtube really don't say anything informative.

My dad has a harvest right (whichever is the largest they sell) and he has ran it 24/7 for about 4 years. He loves his, but does say there are a few upgrades and tricks (particularly with the oil & oil filtration). I really don't know much about them but his is always running. He pre-freezes most things so he has a chest freezer full of stuff ready to go. He sends us mylar bags with freeze dried fruit every couple months - peaches are my favorite.

He says the "Betty's Harvest Right Freeze Dryers Group" on facebook has been extremely helpful.
