Friends of NRA

My wife and I went to our local Friends of NRA banquet on 22 September. The last time we went was about 4 years ago. We have won small items from the raffle, but this year we walked out with 3 new additions to the safe.

First is the NRA Gun of the Year, Kimber 1911 Custom II
Second is a Colt Cobra .38 Special (wife claimed that already)
Third is a Ruger American Predator 6.5 Creedmoor

We enjoy going to the banquets and supporting the NRA.

Hell yeah, I've won 3 guns over 5 events. Several small items as well.

I never know when or where they are having them but congrats on the winnings

I've gone to a few including the one recently in Stillwater. Haven't won a single thing but donated to a worthy cause: youth shooting sports.

I go to ours in Ponca annually, and spend tons of money but never win anything.
I don't go with any anticipation of winning anything. Its a great cause that our youth shooting club enjoys the benefits of. They get grant money from the NRA for ammo, shooting mats and jackets, as well as targets and some very nice Anschutz rimfire rifles.
