Registered in 68 amnesty by a man named Ted M. who had a hobby shop at 6th and Boston in the 70's + 80's
It hung on display there. I never asked Ted who did the refinish work but I'm guessing his friend Cecil G. a long time Tulsa Gunsmith.
Both men have been dead 20-30 years and I never found out anymore info. I bought it off Ted's estate in '92 Shot it once and put it away.

And NO I'm not taking every Tom, Dick or Harry out to testfire this thing.

$5000 deposit day of sale holds it until paperwork clears (6-12 months)
    Balance due upon delivery.

Has a shiny blue finish, a little bonanza gold type stuff in the lettering, visible side of bolt jeweled.
Has "S" on bottom of receiver and FJA and GEC marks on receiver by ejection port indicating Savage plant Manufacture. Nice shiny bore with good rifling.
    Offering on OSA first.

Nice subgun. Was it an issue or a bring back? I’m really rusty on my Thompson knowledge. Is this one of the models that had the blish (sp) device, or was that the earlier models?

I asked my wife about this, but she said Nope... she is shooting the idea down.

I said she could shoot it down SO much faster with a Thompson submachine gun!

I thought surely that would work... but nope, it didn't.

Plug for the OP. My friend has one, and you won't find a better way to fire .45ACP. Stick only and fires from an open bolt.

Open bolt, fixed firing pin, no Blish lock, WWII issued. All the old guys claimed a vet bring back but 99% weren't.
You could buy these in the 60's for like $100 with a lead filled barrel. Then when GCA68 came along the smarter guys ran down and registered them, heated the barrels and let the lead run out.
