Yep 2 times faster.

I was sitting there annealing a pile of .223 brass and I was using my right hand to
turn the cases in the propane torch flame.
Left hand sitting there doing nothing.

I thought this flame is pretty wide and I bet I could do one in each hand.

Yep .
Had to place the torch right in front of me facing away of course and spun 2 cases
at a time in the flame.

And to think all these years I have been doing 1 at a time.
Dork!

Do you have a video of this?

I tried to load a video one time from my 1990's sony cyber shot 3.2 mega pixels camera onto my Yahoo mail to
send to a friend and it would not upload.
I could not take it from my camera to computer and stick in an e mail.

I would need 3 hands.

I did take a picture of what it looks like without the flame on and one hand holding the camera.
Just picture a flame and another hand holding the case on the right.
Turning the cases with the mouths almost touching.
Notice these have been annealed already.

When I competed hot and heavy in IHMSA handgun silhouette matches for over 25 yrs. I used three .223 based wildcat cartridges in my Thompson Center Contenders and annealed all of the cases to make them last longer......6mmTCU, 6.5mmTCU and 7mmTCU.

There were / are a few expensive automatic annealing machines on the market but I had a long time shooter tell me in the beginning to just hold the brass between your thumb and forefinger and slowly rotate it in the flame of a propane torch being held in your other hand.

I had read about annealing and I knew that it was possible to over anneal a case and make it too soft so I ask him.......

Me; How will I know that I'm not over annealing the case ?

Him; Trust me boy, your fingers will tell you when the case necks are annealed enough long before you've over annealed them. :)

I was experimenting with necking down some .308 cases.
I thought I would anneal them a lot more and this would allow me to form .243 cases easier.

WRONG!
I ended up with a folded up .308 case.

Those were not held in my fingers :)
