It goes to the transmission shop on Friday. Taking it to RCore, will let you all know how it works out.
If I ever find a 1995-1999 2 door Tahoe with the 6.5 Diesel I’ll be willing to cash out my savings account. Love that body style.
Why the 6.5 diesel? I've heard they are crap.

Gm 6.2 and 6.5 diesels are crap.
Got it to the shop on Friday, picked it up on Wednesday. They completely rebuilt the tranny, went through the transfer case replacing seals and the worn parts, and also did the U-joints on the front driveshaft. Now that it's driveable, the next stop is the muffler shop. As it is right now, the exhaust is completely shot and she sounds like an absolute beast.
