hit the hwy it shifted looked down 85 mph 6 grand on the tach. runs great.

Six grand at 85mph, holy crap!

Where's the redline on that thing?

Yeah,
That thing should be closer to 3 grand at 85.
Unless you are running 5.88 gears or something else is wrong or you read it wrong.

it was still picking up speed . shifted to top gear 1900 rpm at 70 mph . red line 7 grand. Bug shield $59 + tax Ebay . With hood shut on bug shield wiggled it till I got it where I wanted Put masking tape on hood so I could check location. Peeled plastic off double back tape. Drilled 4 holes in hood through pre drilled holes in bug shield. Going for test drive.
