I do not own either the g43 or g43x or g48.
Of the three what is the one you would purchase
for conceal carry if like me you don't own either and why?
Your insight will be appreciated.

I own the 43. I also own a 19, 34, 38, and 40. The 43 is more concealable than any of them of course. If I feel the need for more than 6+1 and an extra mag, I’ll go to the 19. I can’t see the need for a 19 size 10+1(G48) as the 19 fits my hands fine and holds 5 more rounds. I fail to see the advantage of a longer, wider, grip on a 43 size slide as this is for the ultimate in concealment.

Of course I haven’t held one yet. Maybe the greatest appeal will be for smaller sized hands. I could see these models being a good fit for my wife or daughters, who do have a tougher time with the 19 size grips. For what it’s worth, I carry the 34 concealed regularly with no issues.

My current (and I hope last) combo is a G45 on the hip and a G43 in the pocket. I thought about going with a gen5 G26 for the magazine compatibility, but it's just a little too chubby for the pocket.

I like the idea of the slim 19 sized pistol but that G45 is all kinda AWESOME!!!

I have fondled all three, and actually carried a 43 for a little while, and I would probably be interested in owning a 48.

I have a 19.5 that is my nightstand gun but I'm really not interested in using it for carry. The 43 is too small for my hands but the little extra width on the 43X and the 48 feels better.

I would need to shoot the 43X and 48 before I knew for sure if I wanted one or the other.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is a Glock 43X, and a 48?

They are two new pistols from Glock. You can read all about them at the link below.
One is a little longer in the grip than the 43, and the other one is longer in both the slide and the grip than the 43. Both are smaller than a 19. I think the grip on both is a tiny bit wider than a 43's is. They both have silver slides, which I think looks like chit. They will both sell like hot cakes though. They are already both immeasurably better than the XDs or similar guns from Croatia or wherever they build them these days too. Those guns are made by oppressed, sad people in places you don't wanna live.

I don't currently own a single Glock but if I was in the market for another it would be the 43. I do want to see a 48 but that is probably as far as it will go.

The 43X is 5.02 inches in height which is the same height as the G19.It isn't quite as wide though, don't remember the width but a little thinner than the 19.I do have a G43 and it is a little small for my hands. The 43X is 3/4 of an inch longer than the 43 so that would be just about perfect for me.I will probably buy 2 before long.I would also like a 48.
