I'm thinking this is probably an all metal mag that takes full advantage of the extra space in the grip.
If they can make them Glock magazine reliable these should be a big success and cause even more interest in the new slimline guns.

Way back in the day, some company made aftermarket mags for the G22 that were made out of steel. Eventually, the steel mag boogered up the mag release. Hopefully these won't do the same thing.
