First off, I love this setup. With the S15 mags from shield arms, it can’t be beat. 15 rounds in flush mags, g19 grip length but single stack and red dot optic. LOVE IT. however, I don’t know if anyone else has run this setup, but the screws that came with the Holosun are about 1/2mm too long. Just enough that the screw on the right side makes contact with the tension rod for the extractor causing either double feed/jams that require you to drop the mag and manually clear the spent casing. When it does eject it would be all over the place……straight up, up and left, up and right, down and right. Never a consistent ejection pattern. Though maybe it had to do with s15 mags, but it did it with factory mags too. Noticed that the extractor could be moved by hand and if you just lightly opened the slide, the ejector wasn’t even grabbing the casing. Backed the optic screw out and bam, ran like a dream! ( picture from the rear shows how much I had to back it out before it stopped making contact with rod) Filed the screw down little by little until it was no longer making contact with the rod and installed to torque spec. Runs like a dream now! I have since heard that this isn’t just a problem with the Holosun, but also the Romeo and the newer RMR CC. So if before taking it to the range for the first time, you install an optic, check that tension rod and make sure your screw isn’t putting pressure on it. many one else run into this issue?
