I'm not sure but if the folks at government research the backgrounds of gun applicants like they guarded Epstein it's no wonder we have problems. They need to put a little more effort into it if they're going to have. a background investigation and leave it as it is, there's no need for more laws, just good people doing their jobs like they were hired.
