Yes i am right. Our country's founding fathers were Christian where do u think the "one nation under god" came from. They wanted religious rights and freedom from the British control

This country was "found" a helluva long time before Europeans arrived, at least 12,500 years prior.

Actually, you are not quite correct, but that tired old canard gives us the warm fuzzies.

Hmmm so when george washington got on one knee and asked all mightyt god to have mercy on the souls of deserters before they were hung it was just for show? When franklin said perhaps the attendees of the Constitutional Convention should take a break for fasting and to pray for the intercedance of god he was just joking? When Madison the author of the second amendment asked that the phrase full toleration of Mr Masons be changed in the first amendment to the free excercise thereof it was because he did not care about religion?

Most of them were Christians, but a good number were deists. America has traditionally been a Christian country, but there have always been a large number of Jews, Buddists, etc., here.

The phrase "one nation under God" was inserted in the Pledge of Allegience in the 1950's, long after the founders.

Dammit you beat me to the "deist" point.

People that protest the phrase are a bunch of tards, the phrase is "one nation under God" not "one nation under one God". Just pick a god of your liking and carry on.
