Yep, and there is not a danged thing you can do about it.

I went with a climbing stand. Left very little evidence unless late season or the specific tree was investigated.

Had a buddy call me the other night to ask if I was interested in going in on a 600 acre lease. He said there'd be eight people hunting on it and each was paying $1000 per season. Not a bad deal if you have an extra grand laying around......but I didn't.

600 acres for 8 people, that you probably don't know. That's a lot of people on that size lease, IMO. Landowner is getting $8K for 8-9 weeks worth of people being on his dirt.

8 people on 600 acres in southeastern OK that's timbered, no problem. My area? Everyone could see each other drive in, park, drive out, wave to each other while in the stand through binoculars, etc.
