I called my favorite gun store and had them order me a Lane this morning. Scorpion Magnum. Rated for 338 Lapua and I had them get the stainless baffle titanium tube one. Their middle weight and priced version of the Magnum. I sure wish I could have gotten the all titanium one but Im poor so...

What did that end up costing? I've been looking at them also, after seeing your post about them.

Hopefully we get to see a range report by the end of the year! I had considered a Lane but decided to go with a Sig...

Im sure Ill have it by then. I think the times for an individual is dropping. What made you decide on a sig?

Picked the Sig based on price, materials, sound suppression, and availability of compatible muzzle devices. Also have a 762 Saker in jail. Filed both under my trust knowing it will take a bit longer than filing individual. NFA tracker is showing almost 3 months faster as individual, making me second guess my decision!

Cool. I wanted a direct thread for cost reasons. Ill file as individual since I have people on my trust that wont be able to jump through the hoops. Its faster this way anyway.

I had Murfs in Duncan order it for me. Their final cost including sales tax was right under the MSRP listed on Lanes website if that helps you any in figuring out what the actual cost of any of the cans would be for you. Everyone else just quoted me MSRP as their price.
