I like the shed.
I like the idea of a self sustained off grid deal even more.
I have used the Harbor freight 2000 watt inverter that has 4000 peak watts and I can run my Mig Pac 100 on it and I can run a 5000 btu 110 volt window unit on it.
It has low battery shutoff and then an alarm sounds..high buzz sound.

I ran my sons house in Moore on it for 2 weeks.
Powered his fridge and central gas furnace along with a fish tank with heater and lights and his tv and video games on just 1 of the plugins.

I had it attached to an 80 amp hour battery and then jumper cables ran to a Ford Festiva.
In 2 weeks he used less than 3/4 tank of fuel in the car.
Only started it when things shut down.

I can run a Delta 14" chop saw and a 1/2" drill on it at the same time both under full load.

Something to think about if you have not.
