Wow! I'm diggin' that compact model. :naughty: That just might be my next purchase. I was gonna go with a gen5 Glock 19, but that compact 2.0 looks sexy.

I think they hit a home run on it.

Yup. I think that's the one.

Now then...is anybody making holsters for it yet? :ugh2:

On the compact,
A holster that fits a 2.0 4.25" will work perfectly.

A leather 1st Gen should work fine. I'm running both 2.0s in a Milt Sparks VM II. Most leather holsters should be pretty forgiving.

There are 4 areas where a well fitted 1.0 kydex holster will have some slight issues with a 2.0. Some don't notice it, but it will cause some drag. It's fixable if someone is really handy with Kydex. The better builders should already be fitting to a 2.0 FS.

@Mad Professor, how well does your pinky fit in the 2.0c compared to the G19? If I can grip the 2.0c normally (even if it requires an undercut), it'll be my next one.

My hands are larger than average. I use a large grip insert with M&Ps and the Glock finger grooves are too small for me.

They are very close to the same for me but get there a bit differently in my hands. The 2.0 magazine forms the lower edge of the grip for me. But even without the magazine I feel like my pinky has a hold of something. The Glock floorplate does not come to the front edge so it doesn't help me. But my hands get an almost identical purchase on both guns.

My pinky doesn't even touch the 1.0c.

My son and I were discussing the 2.0 and the 19 last night. He said that it was S&W’s answer to the 19. He also mentioned that he knew where one was coming in TODAY.
