Ag practices are the issue, and I can't complain about that. Farmers gotta make money.

Few less birds than yesterday, lot a missing to be had by the youngster lol Had this coyote come right by us to check out the mojo decoys, dumped him with a 1oz. load of #8, mod choke at 25y........also hunted with a Democrat for the first time ever as well lol.

Saw 7 on the 1st, got 5, saw 4 this morning and got 2. Didn't even use a full box of shells. Not many birds, lowest count I've ever seen.

Went to Lexington today just to look around, as I was out of town on opening day. I saw more on my evening walk with my wife this evening sitting up on light poles than I did at Lexington. Also, it doesn't look like Lex was managed as much this year for dove. The normal fields I go to down there were either overgrown, or looked like they had been burned over a month ago.
