Got my handgun license renewal back... only took a month

Pretty happy with that, actually...

Some of ya'll may remember my post from June - when I realized my damn permit was expired by like 5 months.

I filed for the renewal on 6/25/15. Got it in the mail Monday - 7/20/15. Not too bad, I think, considering my stupidity in letting it lapse. Got to carry today for the first time, since, felt a lot more comfortable.

I had to renew mine about 10 months ago. If I remember right, it took 3-4 weeks.

It seems like the licensing department has been getting better, or (more likely) demand has dropped significantly.

Nice to know that the turnaround on renewals is not too bad as i need to renew mine in the next few months.
