Sounds like a good dog found a good home. Good for you for taking on the task of finding it for him. All of my dogs over the last 32 years have been left with me or dumped on me. They've been some great pets and companions. Last winter a real sweetheart showed up but she was super hyper and my wife wasn't prepared to deal with her so I contacted a rescue shelter in Stillwater that said they would take her. When they saw her they told me she had been adopted through them before. Appears she was dumped again. During the drive to Stillwater she rode in the car like she'd travelled a million miles and soon as we arrived at the shelter she got really excited and soon as we went in she forgot I was even there. They told me they already had a good home in the mountains in Colorado lined up. Again, good on you for being so good to this fine animal.
