Best steak I ever ate was a NY strip at the Ft. Worth Stockyard Cattleman's maybe 25 years ago. On ice and you pick-em while you look at photos of champion steers all over the walls from the last 75 years. Don't even know if its still there.
Ah ha! A man who knows what a good steak is!!👍

Cash only, and the will open before their posted hours.

Yeah, that's not correct. Your information about the payments is wrong.

I would imagine they'd open for you early if they had everything ready inside, but they take credit cards now, and have for a very long time. Before they'd take cards, they would also take checks. I've been going there for close to 30 years.

Back some years ago, there was talk of a huge chicken fried steak meal at Kendall's restaurant in Noble, OK. It is located right on main street, although I've never been there to eat. I think that they have some kind of "steak challenge" similar to that done at The Big Texan in Amarillo.

It looks like they may have very limited hours though. Their website refers to Wednesday evening and most all day on Saturdays.

Tired it a few times.

I won't go back. Del Rencho has a better chicken fry, and the gravy always tastes of flour.

It's really big. That's about all I could recommend it for.

It is.

Place next door is pretty good too. Can't recall the name right now though.

I’ve always gone early and got in. We would get there at 4. trying to remember the last time I’ve been. Post daughter and pre COVID, so 2-5 years.

Great they take cards now. I’ve not written a check in 20 plus years :)
