Grendel questions

Another question. I can change out just the bolt on the BCG to Grendel, but I’m finding that just the bolt in most places is the same price or more than a complete BCG from Bear Creek. Is there a local source for the bolt by itself that won’t break the bank?
Next, what mag manufacture has the best rep for use in the Grendel?

In my colt it takes magpul and the same mags that go to it. Not a single problem. Even used the metal mags.

Interesting, the shell base looks like it would be to big to run in a 223/556 mag. If it runs,I'll give it a try.

I have several vids on my Complete Bear creek Grendel 24" heavy fluted barrel. I've done a mag dump (expensive) and ran it dirty without a single fail. The quality of work is outstanding. This is only on the complete upper and not a build from the barrel.
At the price I got mine, it was a great win. Perfect fit in my Colt 6920 lower. Use the Magpul mags

Mine will work with pmags but only loading 3 rounds or so, it seems to swell the mag and is difficult to get the mag in the lower

Thanks, got most of my questions answered in a few minutes of reading. I joined and am waiting for BFT’s blessing. I see huckleberry75 and chazroh over there. Is your user name the same?
BTW, what was the cost on the bolt group buy?
