It is amazing how guns get beat up just setting in a safe. Is there any problems with storing guns in a case inside your safe. Maybe one of those sock like gun sacks? What do you think?
The only thing I could think of would be moisture. Get a dessicant pack or 2 to solve that.
Cases take up a little more space, but it’s probably negligible.

^^^^This. Silicone socks cut way down on the safe rash, but they all look the same when you open the safe door. Tag 'em or write down the location of each gun.
I seen on the outdoor channel a while back about a thing called rifle rods I believe they slide down in the barrel and stick to the top shelf with Velcro looked pretty cool may of been on here where I seen it but looked lt was easier to keep them separated

I keep the family heirloom guns stored in borestore socks. I spray them down with silicone spray once a year or so to refresh them. Never a problem with rust and the socks keep the safe dings down.
