I thought the weights were tungsten?
Steel and tungsten are what is normally used. Typical carbine buffer that is not H rated is three steel. H1 two steal one tungsten, H2 One steel to tungsten, H3 three tungsten.

I’m guessing he recommended lead because it’s a cheaper alternative and heavier than steel.
