If we can tie Iran to it, that'd be pretty good. Give us an honest 'in' since they're the seventh and final country on the middle east 9/11 list.

Yup. Similar to beef prices. Boxed beef just keeps holding steady or going up while us beef producers keep getting docked. It's over my head but I think there's too many middle men getting in things and the old rule of supply and demand isn't the only thing to worry about any more. That's the truth. Wall Street sets the price on futures based on what they think it'll be worth.

Yeah I'm not gonna even get started on all that marketing bs. Just know that our process yields us a pretty good premium over some other people's cattle. My complaint is the middle men. Our process does have some of them eliminated but there's a bunch more between our buyer and the dinner plate.Go grass fed, grain finished, and sell it to granola hipsters that'll pay top dollar. Organic is so hot right now.
There is some truth to that comment. A friend buys and sells on the common market for his living, but he also caters to the grass fed crowd and makes a little more per lb by selling to them at market price without involving anybody but him and the processor. They buy and he delivers to the processor. Then it's between the buyer and the processor. He's out at that point, no middleman to take a slice of the pie.Go grass fed, grain finished, and sell it to granola hipsters that'll pay top dollar. Organic is so hot right now.
