Hanging a cabinet above the toilet heighth

54 inches is standard building practice. 52 inches ADA , wheel chair users will still be able to access it at that height.

Ours is 54 1/2 inches from floor to bottom of cabinet. Carpenters who installed all the cabinets and trim when we remodeled the house put it up, so it was hung by the perfeshinnuls fwiw.

It's a comfortable height as far as we're concerned...

Think about getting smooth curved door handles rather than ones that have spikes or sharp edges. Just saying from a one time unfortunate experience.
