Hard Cases for flying

Any thoughts on a hard case for flying?
Single full size pistol with two magazines and a box of ammo.

I'm thinking about a pelican 1200.

I appreciate the link. But, it's too big for what I usually need. I'm usually a bit cramped for luggage space when I fly anyhow. Although that might be a good option in the future to fly in for a training event.

It seems like I looked at one of those around Christmas. Wasn't a bad looking case, but bigger than what I need for this.

I saw some somewhere several weeks ago on a pallet. It may have been Atwood’s.

I stopped in at Academy and picked up a Plano one. It was built nice, but ended up being too bulky. I took it back and “upgraded” to the Pelican 1075. It is going to work well for this trip, although it is more than I intended to spend.

harbor freight had those Sam's cases, don't know if they still do or not. Sportsman Guide had them for 40. i bought 3 of them from Sam's when they had them
