Take lots of pics. I think the better half is looking at doing something like that.
Yep. Did it last year. Be prepared to be bussed if the water level is low in certain areas.
Go to the local Christmas Markets. They are all good. Be prepared for quiet evenings. Nothing like the big cruise ships. Do some of the land excursions and local meals.

I've been watching those OETA European River tour travel shows when they come on. They look so peaceful floating by and enjoying the scenery. I would absolutely fill up data disks. Do they have WWII memorials/museums on the trip or are they putting all of that in the past? I have a lot of relatives that fought in the European Theater.
That's something I want to do. I have done a day cruise out of Frankfurt and it was great. Made me want to go back for more.
