Dropped a few lately. January- March is the easiest time to bait them in, in my opinion, for hunting. Hogs made off with my bait barrel a few weeks ago. I went to find it and found a sow on the barrel. 1 down.

Took my daughter last weekend and heard the barrel banging around as we arrived so we snuck within 30 yards and sent some lead. In the chaos that ensued, i had a big sow down and several wounded which i wasn't tracking down with a 7 year old.

My buddy was in a stand just south of that area and was getting down when the pigs came in. He was between 15 of them and the bait barrel. His shotgun laid into them. I brought a smoker home.

I have to brag on the 1500 fps delivery of the piglet. [emoji23]

Thanks, Dennis! Haven't found the boars yet, but I'll take the sounder any day. A little payback for deer season with every one shot. I don't live close enough to trap them as i can't check it daily.

Nice! Way to go! You need a cellular camera. Don't worry about tracking the wounded pigs with a 7 year old. You should be able to outrun her.

What a dick lmao. I know you're kidding bud. I would like to get a cell cam, just haven't. There's very areas on the lease that get reception with either Verizon or AT&T. It would suck to have a $300 camera that can only be used in maybe 3 spots on the lease.

Most of the time in these specific areas. Only about 30% of our lease gets reception and i tend to not hunt those parts.
