Just wondering. I have this 7.62 ammo. Looks to be from 1979 from the headstamp, But I'm wondering about the "backwards 'N" K" part of the head stamp.

Anyone have any idea or info on manufacturer?

Guy I bought it from says it is USGI.
Someone else says that there was no USGI 7.62 x 39.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks mugsy and steelfingers,

Any idea on who the headstamp designates?

Just curious, especially about the "|/|" or 'Backwards N".

so, would that be Cyrillic "e", what about the "K"

Thanks again.
