The last year I have been crazy busy at work and put on 30 lbs. I was not willing to change my entire wardrobe and kit so instead I went back to eating better and exercising whenever i have time off. Down 15 lbs and still working. Hard to go to the gym after a 12 hour day but I make it a priority to go on my days off and walk half of my lunch break and after dinner.

Plenty of short rides as I try to stay one step ahead of the capricious Oklahoma weather: 15 miles last Wednesday, 10 on Thursday, 10 more on Friday, 12 miles Saturday, 41 miles on Sunday, 15 yesterday, and 10 miles this morning. It all adds up....
You are doing good! I'm averaging around 120 a week, that being about the best I can do with the time I have available. It is a far cry from the 240 mile weeks, and the 6000 miles yearly, that I was doing back in the oughts. Older now, so less miles, at slower speeds. But I'm still plugging away at it.
Just can not seem to get a ride in on the weekends, too much fam stuff and chores that I can't seem to get done during the week also trying to spend more time with my honey.
managed to get 120 through the weekdays, and I really enjoyed the 24miles I rode during the rain last week. It was actually refreshing!
