You can have a bit of fun with Bluetooth hearing aids as well. I was driving around with a co-worker in Southern California getting directions off my phone fed through my hearing aids.
Co-worker: I thought you'd never been here before. How do you know where we're going? You keep going and taking all these turns and exits!
Me: A voice in my head is directing me.
Co-worker: (wide eyed stare)

Here is another tip to help when watching TV.
TV speakers suck as we all know. Get a sound bar with the added “clear voice” third channel.
What that does is take the voice audio from the TV and runs it through some electronics to clean it up and enhance the voices before sending it out into the room. You’ll be amazed at how low you can turn that TV down using a sound bar.

Do you have an example of a sound bar with "clear voice"?

This is one of ours we keep in the RV. Just about any manufacturer of sound bars will have a model with the third channel clear voice.
