I've worn them since December 2014. My first set was Oticon, battery powered. Batteries lasted just about a week. I now have Unitron rechargeables. A charge will last "all day." The longest I have stretched them was from 3A.M. until about 10 or 11P.M. that same night. By then, they were just about dead. I have never been fully satisfied with the performance of either brand. My Unitron supposedly have all the bells and whistles, but I doubt the effectiveness of some of their features. I love that they pair with my cell phone. That is the best of the features as far as I'm concerned. They also pair up with the TV, but that is FAR from perfect. I have yet to find the right combination/volume setting to allow me to hear the TV and personal conversations at the same time. I am constantly adjusting the volume to hear the TV, or my wife, or the TV, or my wife ... and I mean constantly. Cost was $4K for each pair, and Medicare/Insurance paid nothing. They are far from perfect.
