Heavier Bullets in AR

Yeah, it is! But, my back has had all it wants for today. And, I didn't realize I was getting a little short on some powders until today.

Yep, the Hornady 55gr FMJBT is a great 55gr bullet.

I actually think I've got some, but I've never loaded 2230 or H335. May have to try that. Thanks!

Just the fact of it being a 1 in 7 twist does not mean it wont shoot 55's. I have had two separate BCM barrels; one 14.5 and one 16, that shot 55's like a laser.
Every barrel will benefit from a load work up to find the weight and velocity that produces the best accuracy. While there are some guidelines and best practices, nothing is certain without testing.

I agree with Uncle Money Bags on this.

I think that the quality of the barrel and the quality of the bullet and load determine the accuracy capabilities of most rifle barrels. Shooting 55 grain FMJs that are not match quality out of any barrel will give you bigger groups than match quality bullets. However if your barrel is not good quality, then it won't matter how good the bullets are, your groups will suck.
