I lived here till I was 16, I was born in okc I have the public hunting area maps I hunted Lexington when I was 4 but public areas are so pressured

Yes, they are. It's unfortunate but you are right. You can still get some great hunting in on those public areas. Guys posted up some really good whitetails this year from them.

Predator hunting may be a different story. I've never tried predator hunting on a WMA.
