In all honesty the 362 is my first new stihl in quite some time. It is my first M-tronic as well. What I can say about it now is that it’s one hell of a bucking saw. But I have only put down one large tree and a few small ones. But that large tree was a willow with some nasty leans. So I used shallow notch, bore cut behind the hinge and left a strap (which is usually a pain in the ass to do) but with the 362 the whole process was quick and painless. My sons were there asking why I was bore cutting it so I cut one with a regular notch so they could see what a barber chair looked and why they are so dangerous. So although I say it is one hell of a bucking saw (and it is) the few times I have really tested it in challenging wood, it blew through it like sauce through a goose.
