[QUOTE="henschman, post: 1828573, member: 4235"] As with every other choice in life, this boils down to a question of values. The government has created a situation in which you have to choose which you value more... the protection of your life, or your obedience to their laws. It seems that most people choose obedience. Sheeple indeed. Let me ask you this: how many times has your wife been stopped and searched while at work? I would say it is exceedingly unlikely. Does she have to go through a metal detector to get into her place of work? I would guess not. If I am right about these things, it means that if she were to carry a concealed weapon to work, the only time anyone else would know about it would be if it is actually be needed for the defense of her life. In this situation, she should be happy to accept whatever reprimand she gets from her employer and the possible misdemeanor charge from the state, as long as she is still alive. Even if it means losing her job, at least she is still breathing, and she would be a nation-wide celebrity to self-defense and pro-liberty advocates everywhere. Of course you should work to change the government, as many of us are doing, but many times life can be greatly simplified by simply IGNORING the government with it's silly laws and going about your business.
