May not be the best place to post this but I know a lot of gun guys are also knife guys. I'm active duty and have been wanting to purchase a nice knife for both EDC and to have while flying. I've been eye balling the bench made auto triage series but after reading what I can find it appears it's illegal to carry ANY type of knife on your person? Idk if I'm missing something but what's the point of owning a knife if you can't leave your house with it?

After SB 1159 was passed an became law last November, I believe you can carry just about any knife you want, except in a courthouses and similar government facilities

Does this include assisted and auto openers?

I believe so. Auto openers became legal in 2015. If I read right, they got rolled into this 2016 law as well.

However, you pull a sword outta your britches in the mall food court to clean your fingernails, expect some raised eyebrows. Care must be used.
