Let's just pause, and think about the kids and teachers, and the grandmother.....
Pause, reflect, pray, and just know these people had lives to live. Young, not knowing this was their last day. So please, just pause and think about them, and thank God you are alive for another day here on earth.
Let's never forget these victims...
Pause, think about them.

We live in a society where the majority doesn't like the thought of locking people up though, whether criminal or mental. Except for children with psychological issues.....we let the adults with the same issues roam.
They don't like locking criminals up and they don't want to parent or discipline their kids.

This is more of a "cause" discussion IMO. One thing to note is that the statistics posted previously are very interesting. 24 shootings under Obama, whom seemed to call for legislature every week regardless of the scenario. I'm far from a CT guy but there's a variable there that needs to be explored. Along with the timing of these shootings, they are just strangely convenient for the left. Finally, IMO Soros is evil. He so narcissistic he think's his actions are altruistic, when they are obviously just a politically motivated ego trip. I don't put anything past him because the end always seems to justify the means with him and his money.
I think that of all sides.

I’m terrified of the people that only see it in the opposing side. Beware the wolf in sheep’s clothing.

For a long time I felt as you do. Your lost me comment is part of what is wrong with society. No one is willing to give at all. I never said take guns from legal law abiding gun owners. Never will say that. I do feel that too many who should not own guns do and mental health issues and violence threats are valid reason to say you lost your right to own a gun. I certainly am a 2A proponent just one who is less radical and fixed on not compromising than you.
I’m sorry but you either fully support the 2A or you don’t. The compromise that you talk about is what has screwed us so bad. Too many are like you and willing to negotiate our right away. The 2A is no longer a right. It’s a privilege. The moment they placed restrictions on it, it became a privilege. Where does it say in the constitution and bill of rights that certain people are barred from owning guns? And I don’t care what the scotus said. Why are you so fixated on the object used to murder? If these evil people start using cars to kill mass numbers of people are you gonna compromise on who can and can’t own a car? Why do you think another gun law is gonna work? None of them that we have work. They only affect “law abiding “ people. Im sick of hearing that term. I don’t want to law abiding. Because the “law” is designed to strip my freedom away.

I really don't care what your opinion is. My sensible statement is to try to find a way to prevent those with mental illness those who threaten others from owning a gun. Surely we as a society can do better. Guns don't kill but assholes who should not own one do.
Yeah and they will still kill regardless if they have a gun or not. Apparently you can’t understand that.

I am done responding to you. No point to continue any discussion.

Nowadays taking meds doesn't mean there's something wrong with you, they're just for enhancement, to make life better.
Viagra for instance.
Seems mentally ill used to mean totally psychotic bang-your-head-on-the-wall obviously crazy and a danger to yourself or others.
Now it means can't deal with real life.

I blame all the wireless devices we have, all those radio waves going thru our heads all the time. 😏
on to something
