This is the first part of the email I got: For those of you who haven't already heard the news, I regret to inform you that long-time Glock Talk member Mark Reimer (Okie) has passed away. He died Monday, July 8, 2013, while he was preparing to undergo a medical procedure. At the time of his passing, Mark was 54 years old. In fact, his birthday was July 8th. Mark joined Glock Talk on October 28, 2001. In his time here, he became GT's most prolific poster, logging more than 129,000 posts. This number, impressive as it is, is not accurate though. There was a period of about four years where Okie's post count number was plateaued at around 65,000, because a limitation of an earlier version of the software did not allow for a number larger than that. His actual number of posts is probably closer to 185,000. In his time on Glock Talk, Mark touched a lot of lives and made many, many friends. This fact is made apparent by the outpouring of emotion in the threads that will be linked to below. There are few better measures of a man than the number of people he leaves behind, who remember him fondly. Rest in peace, Mark. Your presence will be missed.
