There's something to be said for cheap knives as well.

Often they can be replaced for the price of postage returning a broken/damaged name brand. And if lost, there's no need to prove ownership.

Just a thought.

I like my Old Timer 2 or 3 blade. Very sharp and can process deer and hogs with it and if I bust a tip off of one of the blades when using it wrong I just got a handy screwdriver on 1 blade.
HA!
Have I ever broke an old knife where it was not usable..NO.
I have broken cheap made new junk.

But I do like the shape of the blade better on the green one.
The extra curvature helps get into the meat when processing .
I actually like a Tanto shaped end best for removing meat from bones.

No Idea what your plans for that pocket knife are though.
Cutting shad on a flat rock or pokin' people.

I can't decide which folder to get. I have narrowed my choice down to two.

...or the Benchmade Griptilian in OD green...

Both knives are about the same size...

Spyderco Manix 2
Overall Length:
8.03"
Blade Length: 3.37"
Closed Length: 4.66"
Blade Thickness: 0.125"
Weight: 4.9oz.
Clip Position: Ambi/Tip-Up
Lock Type: Ball Bearing
Steel: CPM S30V

Benchmade Griptilian
Overall Length
: 8.07"
Blade Length: 3.45"
Closed Length: 4.62"
Blade Thickness: 0.115"
Weight: 4.62oz.
Pocket Clip: Tip Up, Reversible
Lock Mechanism: AXIS® locking mechanism
Blade Material: 154CM Stainless Steel

The Spyderco wears G10 scales while the Benchmade has a polymer handle done in, my favorite, OD green.

This is a tough decision. What do the masses say?

:thanku:
Never go wrong with a Benchmade. They are the best.
