I cannot believe how well Hickok45 shot this pistol in the video. No, I don’t own any Taurus firearms of any kind/caliber.

One thing that concerns me, about this Taurus GX4 is it’s durability and repair service (if ever needed).

How long ago was that? There's been many changes at Taurus since then. Are you going to be anti-Marlin even though Ruger owns them now, just because the Freedom Group Remington one did?

I think that between the Ruger Max 9 and the Taurus GX4, I'd have to go with the GX4. Might be one I'd rent first to compare to the Sig P365 (have 2 of those).

I don't think it will kill the P365 but it will give it a run for the money. The Ruger, however, is probably quaking in its boots.

Two of my friends own Taurus G3’s (one owns two and bought one for his daughter) … they shoot the heck out of them … no issues.

Yep, the G3 really surprised me. I'm betting that the G4 will be a solid and affordable shooter. They used to have a pretty bad rep, especially with their semi-autos, but dang if they don't make probably the best poly 22 pistol out there with their TX-22, and it's far from the most expensive. I'd give one of the G4's a try if I come across one at a good price. I was eager to get my hands on the new Ruger, but was let down a little bit once I finally got one in my hands. It just didn't feel 'right' to me.
