Don’t forget about the black helicopters. Make sure everyone has their tinfoil hats on when a black helicopter comes near. Especially the cat. I agree. But everyone has their own risk tolerance and things they care about. I’ve identified for myself certain things that are a concern and others that aren’t. I don’t go crazy about every possible threat, otherwise, like @dennishoddy said, I’d have to go live under a rock. I’ve talked about some of the things that matter to me here, but no one else needs to care about those if they don’t want to. I talk about them because sometimes people aren’t aware of the ways someone can violate them or think there’s nothing they can do. If anything I’ve said is helpful or useful to anyone, great! Take it and use it. If not, no problem. One thing I do think everyone should do, and which is pretty much universal advice by security professionals since the Snowden leaks, is use a paid VPN service whenever accessing the Internet. For help choosing one, try bestvpn.com.
