The bad part is that most ww's on newer cars is even lead it is usually zinc and alot of tire shops are going all zinc now also so lead ww's is hard to find. So is it really worth the risk of getting caught taking them off of cars unless you can identify them at a glance.

That might be true, but we was not talking stopping power, we was talking in a shtf situation where you are trying to survive and might have to scrounge for ammo on the run, and not to mention efficiency.

With 1# of lead & 1# of powder someone with a 223 and a 9mil is gonna be able to get more shots by far!

Just think if it got so bad that you was pulling wheel weights off of cars to cast into bullets.
Understand all the arguments. 223 around 55 gr. 308 168 gr. 9mm 125 gr vs 230 gr. Shoot em once they don’t get back up. Saves ammo
